The Dogs Behind the Myth: Just who are Pooka and Deiter?

Gremlins? Puppets? Evil masterminds? Visitors to Anacam have many theories about the true nature of the furry creatures they see on cam. To the casual observer they appear to be cute, cuddly house pets. But the members of the PDCTS (Pooka and Deiter Conspiracy Theory Society) have their own ideas.

Deiter and Pooka inhabit a spacious apartment in the Twin Cities metropolitan area of Minnesota. The exact location of the apartment is a carefully guarded secret, to ensure that these high profile net celebrities are guarded from autograph hounds (pun intended).

Pooka and Deiter are commonly considered to be canines of the Japanese Chin variety. They have two people, Ana and Jason. While often believed to be minor members of the Anacam family, there is evidence that they play a much larger role.

Pooka, the eldest of the duo and an original member of the Anacam family (he predates even Jason), is a sophisticated Pices who enjoys lounging with Ana on Thee Big Green Couch. He dines on chew toys and the occasional grape, but avoids popcorn. Too polite to bark, Pooka prefers to make a trilling noise when playing. His favorite toys include stuffed animals and a squeaky red triple rubber monkey. Pooka recently learned to shake hands, and his feet smell like Fritos.

Deiter is Pooka's younger counterpart. According to Ana, Deiter is the "butch" one. Born on August 29th, 1998 to Lord Master Chin Wolfgang and Empress Lady Chin Samantha, Deiter is a Virgo. He sometimes chews on "pizzles", which are smoked bull penises. Since Deiter's arrival in the apartment, a full night's sleep has been rare for Ana and Jason. The dogs keep them awake by crying in the kitchen all night.

Some recent events have members of the PDCTS buzzing about the true colors of Pooka and Deiter.

Rumors have begun to circulate through #analove that the two are actually the masterminds behind the Anacam, using Ana and Jason as puppets in their grand scheme.
Are Pooka and Deiter hatching a plot to turn thee big green couch into a spacecraft in order to take over the world? Why do they spend so much time there? They seem to concentrate awfully hard on it.
Are Deiter and Pooka having an illicit love affair? Ana has her suspicions. You decide.
Secret Agent Dankitti has uncovered a few interesting details of Deiter's past. Before moving in with the Anacam crowd, Deiter was seen in the company of such celebrities as Joni Mitchell and Artelevision's Mimi.
Goofygrape also found an example of Pooka's early career as a cereal box model.
Is Deiter secretly plotting to sell Jason to the sausage factory?
This just in! A manifesto from spiral:

"The fact that they purposely kick around wires connected to the cam to stop Ana's American right of free speach to promote their facist k-9 beliefs is beside the point. There was one time when I noticed the colors on Ana's cam to be somewhat filtered in a colored tint. This is obviously the disgusting work of Pooka and Deiter to stop again FREE SPEECH. The way I see it these two 'doggies' could lead to the downfall of American freedom as we know it. You think those silver balls in the living room are just for decor? HA no no no. Pooka and Deiter use them to relay satellite messages to Russia regarding Ana. And dont get me started on their obsessive humping."
